Had exceptional staff at the reception desk. It was great and perfect to everything you need amenities wise.

Well-appointed rooms and there was kitchen. We truly enjoyed how amiable and really accommodating the staff was.

Culinary Wonderland: The shared kitchen at the Silk Mill was like a magical food laboratory! I felt like I was in a MasterChef challenge, exploring and creating culinary masterpieces with fellow guests. With all the cooking tools and appliances provided, it was a chef's dream come true!

Maintenance Delays: Drainage issue took up to 3 days for resolution.

It was located in a good area away from the town centre. Staff was absolutely lovely, assisted us with everything.

particularly good and magnificent location right by about 20 minutes walk from city centre, the city center of edinburgh in a pleasant walk, and the train station, and the room was a nice size. the staff were amiable, they looked after us.

The location is great, within walking distance to Fountain Park and the city center. the Mustafa Dera Restaurant across the street served amazing food for both dinner and breakfast. Plus, there was a huge shared kitchen available for use, which was a major convenience.

My experience was not entirely pleasant. there was no bin in the room, and the loud and constant noise from the bathroom's extractor fan made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Great 7-night stay! We had an amazing time and really enjoyed it here. Definitely want to come back again! 😊

The studio apartment at Silk Mill Close was cozy and had a lovely, homely atmosphere. It made me feel instantly comfortable, like I was staying at a friend's place.

Personally, I found the shared kitchen a bit small for my liking. But hey, others might still find it perfectly adequate.

They always greeted me with a smile and a helpful attitude, going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Despite a few minor issues during check-in and some ongoing maintenance work, the staff's dedication and efforts made up for it. the location was also convenient, with a pleasant 30-minute walk to the city center of Edinburgh. I found the price of the accommodation reasonable compared to other options in the area.
